Her most well-known work is her part in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, a sitcom starring Ashley Banks. When she was just four, she began singing and received some fame when she asked her mother to invite her to audition on Sesame Street. As a 6-year old, she started her acting career as a child actor on the Sesame street's educational television program. She was later a part of in numerous productions in her home city, New York, including the Broadway show Fences with James Earl Jones and, later, Billy Dee Williams--and the off-Broadway show Orfeo del Campo. At the age of seven, she was a contestant in Star Search and won twice, receiving a four-star rating after appearing two times.
