Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko, an Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru and a mixed martial artist who is competing for UFC. UFC in the Flyweight Division, is in Kyrgyzstani. Valentina Shevchenko, who is a former UFC Flyweight titleholder and UFC fellow fighter is her younger sister. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as an Muay Thai kickboxer. She debuted in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007 followed by a medal of bronze in 2008 and a medal gold in the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion of 2016 by IFMA. Antonia, who began her professional journey at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and 2016 the International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. The WMC World Championships were held in 2016 and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas during the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was a an unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko set professional MMA records in 2002, when she fought Anara Bazanova at KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the win via a second round TKO followed by 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko had a brief break from MMA and concentrated on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 against Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa Haddaoui with the unanimous verdict. She was then able to defeat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in an unanimous vote. She left the club and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina defeated Nievera by her impressive striking ability during the clinch final round with knees placed on her body. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina Shychenko made her debut in the UFC in the TUF Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the fight via unanimous decision but was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi via split decision. Antonina returned to the ring after the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. This fight earned Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko had a win in her first three fights before losing them to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
